Cool, Cool Cat


Today I completed this card for a number of challenges first, I used the sketch from Midnight Madness week #8 found at http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/. Next Whimsy's at http://whimsystamps.blogspot.com/ has a colour combo of red, orange and yellow so those were the main colours I went with. Then, Digital Tuesday's theme is summertime at http://digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ also, Spoonfulls challenge #58 is also summer found at http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/. I just came across this challenge spot at Pile it On challenge #4 http://pileitonchallenge.blogspot.com/ where you are to use at least 4 buttons and One other challenge which I think I covered that one pretty good.
I used this Cool Cat digital image from Tim Hunter for Hambo stamps and used copics to colour it in, used a sparkle gel pen to the waves, ice and alittle on the glasses too. Sentiment is from CC Designs

Rock Star


Today I completed a card for Stamps and Smile challenge #21 at the fresh Batch found at http://www.sasthefreshbatch.blogspot.com/ where I used there sketch to complete the High Hopes challenge # 37 this week is stars and stripes found at http://highhopesstamps.blogspot.com/. I just love this singing Catrina you can do so much with her, I even added purple high lights to her hair. Copics to colour her in and I added sparkle to her mic and belt

Summer Fun

Here is my 7 year olds card for Crafty Monkeys found at http://hannahzoecraftymonkeys.blogspot.com/ for kids 16 and under. This week is there blogoversery. Miranda picked out surfin' Emma and coloured her in with markers and added sparkle to her bathing suit, sand, well everywhere. Miranda picked the paper, sentiment and shell embellishment to go with the card.

Today my 5 year old son and I created a similar card. I used the sketch from sketch Saturday at http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/ to completed it and my son Memphis used the same sketch but he picked out the paper for us and coloured his version for Crafty Monkeys at http://hannahzoecraftymonkeys.blogspot.com/ for kids 16 and under, this week is there blogoversay so I thought this Dustin Pike image was perfect to help them celebrate. If friends were Flowers...

Challenge #4 at the next level http://thenextlevelchallenge.blogspot.com/ we were given a choice between a stair step fold or a pop up free standing card. I went with the pop up free standing card and I love how it turned out. I coloured flowerbella with copics and added glitter to the flowers in her basket, stuck a whole bunch of Flowers on the front and there you have it, You can get the tutorial on how to complete this project at the next level, it is really very easy, if I can do it anyone can

So I found this new site called Delightful Sketches by Digital Delights found at http://delightfulsketches.blogspot.com/ and they have a freebie Friday and isn't this image and sentiment toadally cute? hehe and Free. I encourage you to check it out they have such cute digital images to purchase. So, I coloured this one with copics and I added atyou Spica to the pink spots and in the water to add alittle sparkle.

I coloured the image with copics and put stickles on the love, scalloped rectangle nestie was used and D vine embossing folder too

All we need is SNOW?

today is such a hot humid day in southwestern Ontario so to cool off I stopped and made a winter card for Whimsey challenge #7- A recipe (2 patterned paper, 1 ribbon and 3 embellishments) find the details at http://whimsystamps.blogspot.com/. Also, this card worked for ABC's challenge at http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ T is for Two Tone where I used two tones of blue in my card. Copics were used, the seal and the sentiment "All we need is snow" is from Whimsy

wow, One card can be used in five challenges first I used Mojo Mondays sketch above http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/ and then spoonfulls challenge 57 is weddingshttp://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ also My Grafico is weddings http://mygraficochallengeblog.blogspot.com/ Papertakes challenge this week is downloads http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/ and Digital Tuesday is to use scraps http://digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ and I have LOTS of scrap paper.
Sooo I used a Dustin pike image and coloured in with copics and added primsa glitter to the brides dress and veil to add sparkle cause every bride should sparkle on there big day, right.
Stampin' up sentiment and punch was used, D vine swills embossing folder and rectangle scalloped nestie too

today I completed a card for just Christmas and Birthday cards at http://christmasandbirthdaycards.blogspot.com/ and seeing that it is such a super hot/humid week here in Ontario I was thinking of cooler conditions so I made a winter card with glidabella as the image. for the first time I used White perfect puff to add puffiness to her bottom of her jacket sleeves and around her neck, you can't really tell but it puffed up very nicely. copics to colour her in and I used a scalloped oval nestie too.

Fairy Wishes

I used the fresh batches sketch and Secret Crafters asked for Pink and Green. The fairy is from the greeting Farm and I coloured it in with copics. Cute as a Button!


Memphis who is 5 completed a card for Crafty Monkeys found at http://hannahzoecraftymonkeys.blogspot.com/
for kids 16 and under. This week it is buttons galore so Memphis had fun picking out different buttons and he stamped the sentiment cute as a bottom from inque boutique, used the circle scalloped punch (with some help) and he stuck the buttons on. Didn't he do a great job? I think so of course

Time of the Season

Challenge #3 at Stampin for the weekend at http://stampinfortheweekend.blogspot.com/ is Rock n Roll 60's I went with the song title "Time of the season" by the Zombies cause winter is the time of the season for frozen noses and snowflurries. Image is from Pink cat studio, sentiment is by Sugarloaf. Snow dots embossing folder was used and I added glitter to the snowman. It was fun to do a Christmas card in June, hope you like.

Big Hugs


Here is my card for spoon fulls sketch challenge for this week found at http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ and for Digtal Tuesdays challenge found at http://digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ where they asked you to create a card using blue, brown and bling with of course a digital image.
I found this sweet Cat hug image at http://www.mygrafico.com/freebies/cat_13.html designed by clip art and scrap and its a free to download, isn't she the cutest?
Anyway, I coloured her in with copics and shaded around the image with blue stampin' up pastels. Swiss dots embossing folder was used on the pink, bling added to the flowers and the sentiment is from CC Designs

Happy Summer

Today I completed a card for two challenges one is at http://mygraficochallengeblog.blogspot.com/ and the other at http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ both asking for a summer theme.
I used a free downloadable fish found at http://www.mygrafico.com/freebies/cat_13.html and printed it off then stamped bubbles and used a stampendous and CC Designs sentiment. Bubbles were coloured in with copics and glitter added. Blue glitter was also added to the fishy.

Cupcake challenge #72


First off, I must wish Taylor a Happy Birthday and to celebrate I made sure I had a cupcake in my image this time round. This is Taylors cupcake challenge #72 found at http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/ you don't have to have a cupcake image but if you have one why not use it, right.
Anyway, I completed this magnolia image that my blogger friend Jacilynn sent to me with copics and a sparkle gel pen on the cupcake. Stampin' up pastels in pink were used to shade around the image. Swiss dots embossing folder was used on the pink cardstock and a labels 4 was used to cut the image out.

Surfer girl!


The next level is having there first sketch challenge found at http://thenextlevelchallenge.blogspot.com/ and I used Surfer Emma from CC Designs and I used copics to colour her in. One the weekend I was shown how to colour in the sand and it is very easy to do you colour in with a light brown then make small dots of different browns and I used a W5 warm grey too and a glitter pen to make it sparkle alittle (another trick taught a Scrappin' great deals playing with copics class)

Tubular Dude!


This CC Designs Image worked for 3 challenges. First I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday found at http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/ then it worked for Nutshells Summer Sunshine challenge found at http://nutcrafters-nutshells.blogspot.com/ where it does not require you to have an image of there's to enter although there images are super cute. Last it worked of OCC's challenge found at http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/ which asked to use border punches and so I used the treading waters punch. Used copics to colour the image in and stampin' up pastels to shade in the water.

The Next Level Challenge Issue 2

The Next level found at http://thenextlevelchallenge.blogspot.com/ has a challenge to make a ribbon border and it is very easy to do and it looks rather cute with the image framed in, I love it! I used a fluffles and the sentiment is CC Designs. Coloured the image in with copics and added stickles to the circles on the gift.

My Grafico Challenge

Here's another card I completed today (I'm on a roll) It is a challenge found at http://mygraficochallengeblog.blogspot.com/. They actually supplied me with this little bird so I could enter this challenge, Isn't it the cutest. I coloured this digital print with copics and you can't really see it but I used a Atyou Spica copic marker (twinkling like stars) on the colourful feathers also the D'vine embossing folder for the bottom part of the card. I made it a thank you to say thanks for the freebie print, I love it!!

The Pink Elephants challenge this week at http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/ is Pink, Brown and white so those were the colours I used with Mojo Monday's Week 90 sketch found at http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/. I used this cute stamped image sent to me from Jacilynn but I am not sure who it is by so if anyone know please let me know cause I love it! I coloured it in with copics and stickled the dots and strips on the girls dress, used a flower punch and used a smile embellishment

One card, two challenges



Today I completed a card for a new challenge site Stampin' for the Weekend found at http://stampinfortheweekend.blogspot.com/ . For there first challenge they asked for a card using yellow and purple. I used Christmas and Birthday card sketch http://christmasandbirthdaycards.blogspot.com/ to completed it. Margarita Ketto by Bella was used and the sentiment is by Bella too. I coloured it in with copics and put yellow glitter on the stars and I added it to the spellbinders butterfly too. D'vine embossing folder was also used. I actually like the colours together, I have to admit I do not use alot of purple and yellow in my cards so it was a nice change
