New Years Colour Challenge at Humble Pie

Happy New Year!!!
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and after a short break Humble Pie has there first Challenge of the year. Use Black, White and one other colour in a classy New Years card. I used sitting Ellie and red as the accent colour. Swiss Dots and D' Vine embossing folders were used and copics.

Mini Gift Bag

I recently did a tutorial on making a gift bag out of an envelope found here and I thought I would make another one for La La's and All sorts anything but a card, Crafty Creations, anything goes, Crazy for Challenges treat package, Secret Crafters Last min gifts, OCC let it snow challenge too, whoo. Inside is a perfect little gift of a mini hand lotion, bubble bath and nail file. It is a quick and easy gift to whip up

Santa's Little Helper

Here is yet another Christmas card, I am alittle sad the Christmas Card season is soon ending they are my favorite cards to make.
I made this one with Midnight Maddness' sketch for Nutshells #6 and Anyone's Christmas Challenge and Stamp with fun's Little present challenge with Stamp Something's Holiday somethings. I used one of my favorite colours of the season which is green but I do love pink to so I added alittle of that for Get Sketchy's Fav colour challenge.
I used Vivi from TGF and I used the D Vine embossing folder and copics to complete, I added gold glitter to the bell for Suzie's touch of gold challenge and stickles to the hat too

2 week Sketch Challenge at SSDS

Freebie Friday Time At Digital Delights


Happy Friday, it is the last day of school here for the kids for the holidays and this was the perfect gift tag to add to the teachers Christmas gifts from the kids. You can pick up this cute peeking elf gift tag from the SNR or PCP groups this week only FREE courtasy of Digital Delights
I used copics and lots of stickles to add sparkle, also polar white flower soft to the trim on the elf's hat. Circle scalloped nestie was also used.

Envelop Gift Bag Tutorial



Use a letter sized envelop and seal it shut









Stamp the envelop with a nice pattern with your choice of ink colour and scor the long sides 1cm each side and scor the one short side 2 cm or smaller whatever you wish. Cut 2cm off the other short end






open the envelop up and fold the excess on the bottom and glue dot the excess to stay flat

fold about 1 cm at the top and punch 2 holes side by side to put ribbon through them








This is the completed project using a simple letter size envelop you made a wonderful little hostess gift for those unexpected occasions when you need a little something. I fill mine with a mini lotion, nail file and lip balm with some packaged candy

Decorating the Tree

Here is my Mojo card, I used a Bella and coloured her in with copics, used Swiss dots on the green and red circles and stampin' up pastels around the image. This card is also perfect for OCC's Holiday's are here challenge too

Shaped Card at SSDS

Happy Saturday everyone, It is bitterly cold in Ontario but I am fortunate that we have very little snow, here is my card for Stamp, Scrap and Doodle this week. We are having a shaped card challenge this week so NO squares or rectangles are to been used.
For this challenge I used a Digital Delights Christmas topper elf and sentiment, coloured him with copics and added polar white flower soft to his hat. I used red Primas Flowers and added Xmas red stickles to the inside flower to give it some sparkle. Oval scalloped nesties were also used.

Dry Embossing Challenge at Humble Pie

This week at Humble Pie we are having an embossing challenge so get your cuttlebug out or whatever you use to emboss and join us with this fun challenge.
I used the Christmas Ornament embossing folder for this card and Christmas Maggie from the Humble Pie line coloured her in with copics and used Midnight Maddness' sketch to complete.

Colour Challenge at SSDS


Wow, what a wonderful Christmas challenge last week, I loved looking at all the great Christmas cards. This week at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle we are having a colour challenge using the colours in the picture and we have a wonderful sponsor this week, Whimsy Stamps.
I used this Digi Image from Stamps and Smiles that I recently picked up and coloured it in with copics, used the snowflakes embossing folder for the background and circle scalloped nesties too, sentiment is from Stampin' up.
I used Mojo Monday's sketch for this card. I wasen't sure how these non traditiona colours would work out for a Christmas card but I think it turned out well. Love to see what you come up with so join us at SSDS

Christmas Card

Here is my take on Anyone's Sketch challenge this week. I used Vivi the elf from the Greeting Farm that I picked up recently at the Town Scrapper in Petrolia , Ontario. Right now they are having an awesome sale buy one get the next at 50% off till Jan 2010.
This is a perfect card for Nutshell's ribbon challenge and Simon Says Charmed challenge too

This week you are to lift a card so we have lots of samples on the Humble pie site and all you have to do is lift one of those cards and share it with us. I lifted this card from Kim. I used the same layout and embossing folder and image. I coloured the image with copics and added blue stickles to the hat and clothing, snowflake embossing folder and Martha Stewart doily lace punch was used too.

Magnolia Christmas card

Using Just Magnolia's week 35 sketch I came up with this Christmas Card using a sitting Tilda, a Stampin' up tag sentiment and tag punches with Martha Stewarts doily lace punch and snowflakles embossing folder to complete.

This is also perfect for Kraftin' Kimmies Textured challenge and Crazy 4 challenges punch happy challenge, Kaboodles snowflake challenge and Spoonfulls no traditional Christmas colours. Pink Elephants Favorite Colouring Medium with mine is copics and
