I used my English Tea Party doily and Fanciful Flourishes

I just love getting my Magnolia stamps out and playing with them

this is one of my favs!!!!!

House Mouse Hop

Today I completed a card for the House Mouse Hop LOVE Challenge

I just love colouring these images in, they take very little time to do so

Stampscapes Trishutter card Tutorial

Today I thought I would post a trishutter card,

I have not made one of these for awhile and I just loved how it turned out

Base is 5 1/2 X 12

(I like to use a black cardstock base for my Stampscapes cards)

scor at 2,4,8 and 10

1 1/2 from border cut between 2 and 10 scor lines

fold to make the trishutter

next

Glossy paper 5 X 11

Make your scene, keep in mind where the folds of the base will be

colour in your scene

(I used many Adirondack Inks)

helpful hint- Q tips are handy for small areas such as the light house

Cut out your scene to fit the tri shutter

Helpful hint- make a cutout with cardstock for side and middle the pieces that will fit the base to make it easier to cut the scene out to fit

Add the moon, clouds and sail boat

I did this once the scene was attached to the base just to make sure I got the moon and the boat where I wanted them to be

Hope you like, this was the first time I used my lighthouse set

Reflections

With 2011 behind us it is now time to reflect on the past year using my

 Stampscapes images I was able to complete this scenic card.

How to:

Using glossy paper I brayed Adirondack Aqua, sailboat blue and Denim.

Added Stampscapes Lakeside Cove Large 0496 and Loons with refection 262A

with India Ink (Archival and Fade Resistant) then I stippled around the edges with Adirondack Denim and Tim Holtz Distressing Ink in Black Soot
